Quality Control and Food Safety

To guarantee Food Safety, Ibertejo Group has implemented the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), based on the Codex Alimentarius and the NP EN ISO 22000/2005 norm (Food Safety Management Systems – these are pre-requisites for any organization that operates with food). We’re currently finishing the process of Certification for Food Safety Management Systems according to the NP EN ISO 9001/2008 norm.
At the Ibertejo installations, our production rooms obey to the most rigorous hygiene and safety criteria, climitazed accordingly to avoid temperature fluctuations in our products during transformation.
Before we transform our seafood, we select our suppliers based on the quality/price relationship. By carefully selecting our suppliers, Ibertejo ensures that we have quality raw material which, together with a controlled technological process, allows for a final product that is safe for the consumer.
With our own storage facilities and fleet, we guarantee the delivery of your product in any place within Portugal, with the utmost security and quality control.
